Welcome to the Alabama Society Children of the American Revolution new website! We are so glad you're here! The Alabama Society Children of the American Revolution (ASCAR) is the state-level organization for the National Society of the Children of the American Revolution (N.S.C.A.R.) in Alabama. N.S.C.A.R. is the oldest and largest patriotic youth organization in the United States, founded in 1895. Our society's mission is to promote the objectives of the national society and strengthen and increase the influence of the local societies within the state.
The Alabama Society C.A.R. provides a platform for young people in Alabama to learn about their heritage, develop leadership skills, and cultivate a love for their country. They actively participate in projects and events that promote patriotism and honor the legacy of the American Revolution.

“Build & Honor Revolutionary Alliances”
Mission: Increase A.S.C.A.R. membership and strengthen the bonds of friendship while we Build Alliances with DAR, SAR, SR and other patriotic organizations as we Honor our patriotic roots.
Objectives: BUILD Membership in A.S.C.A.R. - In order to build membership in the Alabama Society we will be creating a “LocAL Society Kit” for each Society. This will assist local societies in their (functions) meetings. As well as new member recruitment material for recruitment events.
A State Application Team to assist in research and completing national member applications is being created.
BUILD Relationships within C.A.R. - New members will receive a “CARe Welcome Packet” available to help them grow as C.A.R. members.
Alabama Society Informal Group Meetings throughout the year.
BUILD Communication - update website, increase Facebook and Instagram presence, Senior Newsletter, Virtual Monthly Member Meetup
BUILD Alliances with the DAR, SAR, and SR - Find ways to connect.
Honor our Patriotic Alliances!
